About Us
We built this site for fans who want more than the score: people who set a fantasy lineup on Sunday morning, follow a prospect from junior hockey to the big club, and want to know what an injury really means for their team.
What we cover
We write about four leagues: the NHL, NFL, NBA and MLB. On each one, our work falls into four sections:
- Analysis: breakdowns of games, trades and the trends behind them.
- Fantasy: rankings, sleepers and lineup advice you can act on before the deadline.
- Prospects: the players coming up through the minors, juniors and college ranks.
- Injuries: who is hurt, for how long, and what it changes.
Alongside the articles, every team and player has a page that brings together their latest numbers and everything we have written about them. The archive holds everything we have published.
Who writes it
Our writers are fans first, and they play the game too. Every author has a page where you can read about them and see the rest of their work. Editors read submissions before they are published, check the facts and ask for changes when a piece is not ready.
If you would like to join them, start with our guidelines for authors.
How the site is funded
Plenty of what we publish is free to read. Some articles are for signed-in readers, and our deepest rankings and analysis are for members. Memberships pay for the site, and they let us keep writing what we think rather than what a sponsor would like to hear.
Our independence
We are an independent publication. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the NHL, NFL, NBA, MLB or any of their teams or players. Team names and logos belong to their owners and appear here only to identify the teams we are writing about.
