Nikola Jokic and the art of the triple threat
Few players help a fantasy team in as many categories. Here is what makes the Nuggets' centre so hard to replace.

Category leagues reward versatility, and no one offers more of it than Nikola Jokic. He helps in scoring, rebounding and assists at the same time, which frees you to chase specialists at every other roster spot.
That versatility also makes him safer. When a shooting slump hits most stars, their fantasy value drops. His passing and rebounding do not depend on whether his shot is falling, so bad nights rarely become wasted nights.
If you have the chance to draft or trade for him, take it. Building around a centre who passes like a guard gives you a head start in almost every format.
